Producer Company Registration
Incorporation of a producer company (farmer producer organisation) owned by its member producers.

Who needs it
Farmers, artisans and other primary producers who want to buy inputs, process and sell together through a company they own: at least ten individual producers, two producer institutions, or a combination.
A producer company combines the ownership of a cooperative with the structure of a company. Only primary producers can be members, voting is one member one vote, and profits go back to members in proportion to the business they do with the company.
Why producers choose it
- Limited liability and a separate legal identity
- Easier access to bank finance and government schemes for farmer producer organisations
- Professional management while members keep control
What we handle
We check member eligibility, draft the articles for your activity, file the incorporation and set up the annual filings, so the company is ready to apply for the support available to FPOs.
Documents to keep ready
- PAN, Aadhaar and address proof of the members and directors
- Proof that the members are primary producers (e.g. land records)
- Proof of the registered office
- Photographs and digital signatures of at least five directors
