One Person Company Registration
Register a company with a single owner: limited liability and a separate legal identity, without needing a partner.

Who needs it
An individual Indian citizen (resident or non-resident) who wants to run a business alone with limited liability. A nominee must be named, who takes over if the owner dies or becomes incapable.
A One Person Company gives a sole owner what a private limited company gives a group: the business is a separate legal person, and the owner's personal assets are protected from its debts. There is no minimum capital, and since 2021 a non-resident Indian can also form one.
How registration works
- Choose a name and check it with the Registrar
- Obtain a digital signature for the owner
- File the SPICe+ form with the memorandum and articles; PAN, TAN, EPFO, ESIC and a bank account are applied for in the same filing
- Receive the certificate of incorporation with the company's CIN
Growing beyond one owner
An OPC can convert into a private limited company whenever it wants to add shareholders or raise investment; there is no longer any turnover or capital limit that forces it. We handle the conversion when the time comes.

- PAN and Aadhaar of the owner and the nominee
- Proof of address of the owner (bank statement or utility bill)
