Accounts Outsourcing
A complete finance back office: accounts, payables, receivables, reports and compliance, without an in-house team.

Who needs it
Businesses and foreign subsidiaries that want finance handled by one dependable team.
Most businesses can record their sales and expenses. Where they struggle is the work around it: reconciliations, matching payroll to filings, and reports that arrive when they are needed. Recording entries is mechanical; keeping books that are useful to banks, investors, the tax department and the owner takes ongoing management. When it slips, the gaps show up months later as GST mismatches, payroll queries or a rushed rebuild at year end. We take over the accounting function, partly or fully, on a fixed monthly cycle.
What accounts outsourcing includes
New businesses need books set up properly, established ones need monthly discipline, and those approaching their first audit need reports ready in advance.
| Area | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Bookkeeping | Sales, purchases, expenses and bank entries recorded and categorised every month |
| Reconciliation | Bank statements, supplier ledgers and receivables matched with the books |
| Payroll | Salary computation, statutory deductions, payslips and coordination with TDS on salaries |
| Reports and MIS | Monthly or quarterly profit and loss, balance sheet, cash position and receivables |
| Compliance | GST returns, TDS deposits and returns, and support for annual filings |
Who it suits
- Startups without enough volume for a full-time accountant but needing figures investors can rely on
- SMEs and family businesses whose owners no longer have time to keep the books
- Branch and liaison offices of companies based elsewhere, without a local finance team
- Professionals and consultants with simple needs that still require monthly consistency
- Businesses in transition: an accountant has left, software is changing, or books have fallen behind
How it starts
We begin by reviewing the existing records: how current they are, which software is used and how much catch-up is needed. Early issues are usually opening balances that don't agree and bank statements not reconciled for months. Sorting these out is most of the initial work, and we point out problems rather than simply entering figures on top of them.
The monthly cycle
- You share invoices, bills and bank statements through a secure folder or your software.
- We record and categorise transactions.
- We reconcile bank accounts, supplier and customer balances, and GST credit.
- We process payroll and statutory deductions, if included.
- We file GST and TDS returns on time.
- We send the monthly report with any points that need your attention.
Reconciliation is where most of the ongoing effort goes. Months that are skipped don't disappear; they become bigger jobs just before an audit or deadline.
Data security
Financial records include salaries, supplier terms, cash and tax details. We use secure file sharing, limit access to the team working on your account, and agree confidentiality terms in writing before any data is shared.
Choosing an outsourcing partner
- Is reconciliation done on a fixed monthly schedule, or only when something goes wrong?
- Can they work in your software, or will you need to migrate?
- Are accounting and tax filings handled by the same team?
- Is there one named person for your account?
- How is your data protected?
When to outsource
| Situation | What outsourcing gives you |
|---|---|
| Your accountant leaves or goes on leave | Continuity without a gap in records |
| First statutory audit is coming | Financial statements ready well before audit season |
| Transactions are growing | Capacity without adding staff |
| Payroll errors or TDS mismatches | Standard payroll linked to statutory filings |
| Books several months behind | A structured catch-up, then a regular cycle |
Common questions
Is it worth it for a business with few transactions?
Yes. Smaller businesses often benefit most, since a full-time accountant is rarely practical at low volumes.
Can we hand over books that are half updated mid-year?
Yes. We review how current the records are, catch up, and then move to the monthly cycle.
Will we lose visibility of our accounts?
No. You receive scheduled reports and can access your own data at any time.
Documents to keep ready
- Access to your accounting software, or the data files
- Bank statements for all accounts
- Sales and purchase invoices
- Payroll data
- Previous year's closing balances and financial statements
